If you ever wondered what it’s like to fly A commercial aircraft from origin of your choice to your destination this is your chance.

Spend 60 minutes flying from city to city, practice take offs and landings, or land at some of the most challenging airports around the world. You can do this when you take command of our flight simulator based on the popular Boeing 737-800 Aircraft, located under Q1 building in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. You will fly the jet liner over our simulated airports sitting in the captain’s chair in front of a true-to-life scale flight simulator. Sitting next to you will be your flight instructor, an experienced pilot, whose job it is to ensure you have an exciting and unforgettable experience. Popular scenic flight Captain a jet aircraft on a short haul city to city airline sector following real world procedures. After selecting a city pair from our menu it’s time to flight plan, push back, start up and get under way. Can you get 150 passengers to their destination on time?

Take offs & Landings: Here’s your opportunity to practice the most challenging elements of flight. Don’t relax though just when you think you have everything under control is on the look out for reducing visibility, and get ready for approach captain! No take-off and landing are ever the same!

This is truly a unique opportunity to pilot a B737 from the safe confines of a state-of-the-art flight simulator.

FAQs
Do I need any flying experience? Absolutely not, this package can be tailored to suit the level of knowledge and experience you have.

Will I get to fly the simulator? Yes, as much as you can cope with. These packages are designed to give you as much hands on flying as you can handle.

How technical is the briefing and flight, will I understand it all? Yes you will. The flights and briefings are structured to informative as opposed to technical.

Is this done as a group or one on one? Each flight is conducted one on one with you and your instructor.
Can I bring a friend along? Yes you can, there is seating for two extra people to join you for your flight. There is no extra charge.

What is the minimum age? Our recommended minimum age is 12 years old. There is no maximum age.

Is the simulator fully enclosed? Yes it is.

Does it have certification for training? Yes it does, it has New Zealand CAA certification to do up to half of an instrument rating, as well as a number of instrument flying currency credits. We are in a process for getting an approval from CASA in Australia for similar endorsements.

Does the simulator have motion? No, it is a fixed base trainer. However the fidelity of the outside view visuals and shaking system installed in our seats give you a very good sense of motion.

The price shown is for up to 2 people Flying. 2 more passengers on board are welcome.

We are open seven days a week, from 9am – 7pm (Longer by arrangement), excluding Christmas Day, Good Friday, and Anzac Day and some other public holidays. Bookings are essential. Your flight simulator experience will be for 30 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes early for your Pre flight brief.
